By now pretty much everyone has heard of Bullet journaling, but I thought of sharing a few of my setup ideas here. Anyone who knows me would say I am crazy for lists. It feels extremely rewarding to tick off all of those to-do’s. Pure bliss!
The Bullet journal is a great organising system, however it does not totally work for me, so I made some adaptations according to my lifestyle. I don’t use it for work as I have an all other notebook for that and I don’t tend to use the key as well. I do however use it to track a couple of things throughout the year.
I started Bullet journalling last year and it was really fun to look back and see what were my goals in the beginning of 2017 and analyse if I was ever able to achieve most of them. Also, when you write something it feels more definitive and you don’t want to disappoint yourself, do you?
One of the lists I brought forward was my quotes list. I usually write whatever catches my eye, or ear if it’s in a movie, and I think it’s meaningful or funny and would like to remember later.
I am constantly reading, but often not the most interesting or light of texts. So one of my goals for this year is to read more novels, or at least non work related books. I’ve already got a few on my list but I aim for a full page of amazing literature.
All of my non-work related appointments or events come in this section. Even if it’s just dinner with friends I like to go back and recall the moment. Last year I even added some pictures, an idea that I will definitely bring forward.
We are obsessed with music, there is not a single time at home that Spotify isn’t playing. Every last day of the month I check my list of most played and add my three favourite songs. January is still in the beginning but I already have this Alt-J song on a loop.
A great way of tracking your goals is to consistently track them. Even though I wear a fitbit I always check out how many times have I exercised that month so I can induce some self-shame for being a couch potato instead. Joking!
I hope you have enjoyed my Bullet journal ideas and I would love to know yours! I am thinking of doing a Bullet journal stationery supplies, so let me know what you think on the comments below.bujobullet journallifestyleorganisation
