My everyday makeup is pretty simple, so when a night out or a festive holiday comes around I go a little bolder. Not fake lashes and glittery eyes Huda Beauty style, but I do get out of my comfort zone. My style is quite classic and casual so this is where I dare myself.
Naked 3 palette
This is one of my all time favourite palettes, and although I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s festive I do take advantage of all the gold shimmery shades. The shades are extremely blendable and long lasting, and let’s face it you can never go wrong with a naked palette, they are worth every penny.
Bobbi Brown blush
I was on a quest to find a warm pink blush, because bright pink blushes just don’t suit my skin tone. It took ages but I found it, and it’s a beaut! Well, the thing is… this is crazy pigmented. Seriously I can’t even dip my brush properly, just a little dab is enough. I am so happy with this shade, I think we were meant to happen. When you know, you know.
Bobbi Brown lip color
Aw this colour. Sighs of happiness. It just makes me happy. First of all it goes brilliantly with one of my jumpers, so it’s combo. Secondly, can it get more christmassy than this? No! It’s creamy and velvety, so no chapped lips. Bonus time!
Essie glittery top coat
I don’t have beautiful long nails, most probably because I have bitten them in the past so now they look pretty much like paper sheets. But I do like to have my nails polished, after all I have accomplished to let them grow and this is my reward. I got this nail polish last year for Christmas and I kind of appreciate the fact that I appear to be a Christmas bauble. Also, glittery polishes are a no brainer, so easy to apply you can even do it in the dark.
